DANCE STUDIO GUIDELINES

In the essence of safety, discipline and time, certain guidelines will be enforced within the studio. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in expulsion from the class or loss of studio privileges.

  1. ‚ÄčNO GUM
  2. No running or horseplay allowed within the school at any time.
  3. No jewelry.
  4. No food or drinks. Water is permitted but MUST have a lid.
  5. No hanging on barres.
  6. No street shoes on the dance floor.
  7. PLEASE USE RESTROOM BEFORE CLASS BEGINS.
  8. Please arrive to class on time and prepared. Students who are ten or more minutes late without warning are invited to observe the class, but may not participate. This is because the first ten minutes of class is devoted to stretching and warming up. Missing that time could cause the student physical harm. Students who are unprepared (without proper shoes, leotards, and/or hair secured) three times during a semester will be dismissed from the class for the remainder of the semester. Additional supplies will be available through the Campus Store to ensure proper preparedness.
  9. Please inform instructors ahead of time if students will not be present to class. Failure to inform will result as a no-show. If a student conducts three "no-shows" within a semester, they will be dismissed from the class for the remainder of the semester.
  10. Please be prepared to be up and active for the full class. Breaks will be permitted. However, we ask that students do not sit down unless instructed. This will keep energy levels up and helps the classes run more smoothly.
  11. NO FIGHTING!
  12. NO WEAPONS!
  13. NO DRUGS! NO ALCOHOL!
  14. Respect will be shown to instructors, parents, guardians, and others who are in authority. We take pride in creating arts.
  15. Please clean up after yourselves. Please help us take care of the school so that we may be able to help many over many years to come.
  16. If a student is dismissed for balance of semester for the aforementioned violations, the student and/or parent/guardian is still responsible to fulfill its' payment obligation to the school.
